Privacy Policy

At Sparky X, we believe the only thing that should be "tracked" is your tire tread. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our website, AI assistant, or messaging services across Ajax, Durham, and the GTA.

1. Sparky XAI (Powered by Chatbase)

Our website features an AI-powered assistant to help you find tire specs and book services.

• What is Collected: The chatbot may collect and store the contents of your conversation to provide better answers and help us improve our service.
• Personal Data: We advise users not to share sensitive personal information (like credit card numbers) directly in the chat. If you provide an email or name for a follow-up, it is stored securely via Chatbase.
• AI Processing: Our AI uses "Retrieval-Augmented Generation" (RAG) to provide answers based on our tire database. Your data is not used to train public AI models (like ChatGPT).

2. WhatsApp Business Communications

If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, you are using a platform owned by Meta.

• Encryption: Conversations are end-to-end encrypted; however, once a message is received by Sparky X, it is stored in our business logs to manage your service request.
• Lead Generation: Information shared over WhatsApp (like your phone number and vehicle details) will be used solely for scheduling your mobile tire installation.
• Standard Rates: Standard data and messaging rates from your carrier apply.

3. Live Inventory & Location Detection (TireConnect)

To show you real-time stock at your nearest GTA hub:

• Location Detection: Our site may detect your city via your IP address. This helps us show you what's actually in stock for mobile install in your area.
• TireConnect Widget: Our inventory search is powered by TireConnect. They collect technical data (vehicle search history and IP) to ensure you get the right fitment and pricing.

4. Your Rights & Consent (Law 25 & PIPEDA)

In 2026, Canadian law puts you in the driver's seat:

• Consent: By using our AI Chatbot or WhatsApp link, you provide "Meaningful Consent" for us to process that specific conversation to assist you.
• Manage Preferences: You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via our homepage banner.
• Access & Deletion: You have the right to request a transcript of your AI chats or ask us to delete your data. Contact our Privacy Officer at info@sparkyx.ca.

5. Who We Share Data With

We never sell your data. We only share essential info with:

• TireConnect: To pull live stock for your vehicle.
• Chatbase: To power the AI Assistant.
• Stripe/Square: To process secure mobile payments.
